your ego is lying to you (& that's a good thing)

Your ego has been lying to you.

And not in a cute way. I'm talking about the sneaky, sous-chef-of-self-sabotage kind of lies that keep high achievers (like us) stuck in planning mode forever.

While lying on my foam roller this week and questioning all my life choices (more on that later), I stumbled across a concept in "The War of Art" that literally made me almost drop my phone on my face.

Turns out, that voice telling you to "wait until you're ready"? It's not trying to protect you at all.
